Minimize the head lift out of the water when breathing. Improve the hip rotation to improve your streamlined position and to increase the power of the stroke. That increased power will allow you to get more of a glide phase to your stroke. In conjuction with the hip rotation, improving catch and pull phase (hand in, fingertips down, high elbow and “rise over the top” and straight through – trying to phase out the S-stroke).
