Robert Lendvai, one of our newest Ignition Fitness coached athletes, is brother-in-law of Tracy Dory-Kyne. Tracy suffered a severe spinal cord injury while training for the Centurion Canada road race, and is now a quadriplegic. Read her full story on her website, tracydortkyne.com. Robert is training for the sprint triathlon at this summer’s Toronto Triathlon Festival, and after that his focus will shift to this year’s Centurion Canada where he’ll compete in the 50-mile event. Part of his motivation to train is to honour Tracy and to help raise funds for her long-term care. Ignition Fitness will be donating a portion of Robert’s coaching fees to Tracy’s fundraising efforts, and everyone here at Ignition Fitness hopes you’ll consider doing the same. Please spread the word of Tracy’s story to your triathlon friends and let’s help raise some money!
